This may be little involved, but it seem to work for the ObjectBrowser in VFP 7.0. Under the VFP folder there is a folder called Tools, with a folder called xSource. In this folder is a file called xSource.ZIP. Unzip this file, and find the VFPSource\OBrowser folder. Locate the ObjectBrowser.VCX and open it in the ClassBrowser. Locate a call called cBrowserSystem, and a method called GetActiveX. This is the class and method that searches the Registry for installable compontents.

Hope this helps.
