oops!

If you MUST smell an unknown, open the container and waft the fumes towards you with your hand, never sniff directly at an unknown jar of stuff!

Oh, too late, eh? < G > Luckily it only caused those symptoms and they went away.

>>I use to suffer from that, but ever since I stoppped sniffing...oh, wait, you're talking about software...

>You know, you may have something here. I was in Baytown friday. A storage facility there is using some programs I wrote. I have been working with them for almost three years and never really examined their "product".

>So Friday, like the double dork dim wit, I noticed a "sample" jar of either crude or heavy fuel oil. Being curious, I opened it to see if it smelled like motor oil. My face flushed, my gums got warm, my stomach turned upside down.

>It ripped my head off - I had headaches and sinuses that did not go away until Sunday.

>Bottom line - if your working on the San Jacinto River - don't sniff crude oil product. If you live in Alaska - don't eat the yellow snow:-).
