Try this: In the form Init, put some code like this:

this.shape.backcolor = this.textbox.backcolor

(Maybe use Setall if you have a lot of them).

There's a shape bug where even though a shape is marked transparent, parts of it (or the form beneath it, maybe) shows through like opaque is on sometimes.

Only rarely does this occur, I haven't figured out a pattern to it. It's even hard to reproduce, only a certain scenario seems to cause it.
