Thanks for the reply but in my case, actually i'm not in favour of using the insert statement because i've a large application and with some of the forms containing more the 60 fields and multipages, it'll be difficult to control the huge insert statement.

in my VFP every error coming from the ODBC or SQL Server the error number is the same and this error occurs when i at the time of TABLEUPDATE() Command
