You'll see a lot of use of C# among "early adopters" of .NET. You'll see more use of VB.NET among those who are in more conservative situations, and those who have a VB codebase already.
Both languages compile to the Common Language Runtime. I think VB.NET will evolve to have more "RAD" features (more like VFP) and C# will continue to appeal to those who whant finer control over things.
Learn the language that appeals to you. Do you like curly braces; can you work in a case-sensitive language?
