The quick answer would be that you "can't" in 3.0. Supposedly, this is a feature of 5.0. The only thing you can do is some workarounds. The most common (and easiest method) is to move the position of the main window way off of the screen. Also, do a search here for this question, and check the FAQ in VFUG, there are many methods and sequences to choose from.
