I used to think the posibility you mentioned, however there will be problem:

1. my application allow user to stock in, good return and etc backdated. If user add/edit invoise from supplier for last week, then the weighted cost I stored will be invalid. Re-calc of weighted cost may cause poor performance while saving such transaction.

Any advise? Thank you
