I have a utility where the users in an app which I've customised use the Fox Pro Connectivity kit (based around FPSQL.fll) to connect to an IBM AS400 accounting system. Has worked fine for over a year but ...

The server which the AS400 is sitting on has been upgraded and the ODBC driver with it. Nothing on the fox side has changed.

The problem that manifests though is not that the ODBC connection has failed (works fine with Access) but that commands within the library are unknown.

ie DBError, DBConnect and it says the command is unknown.

I have to come up with a reason (and a solution) and my boss says it's because the ODBC driver is no good, but in the past when the ODBC driver was installed badly we got a whole different set of problems.

Does anyone have any ideas?
