Think the main point is not the language or set of languages/technologies (in the case of a web app: VFP, HTML, ASP, JavaScript, the stateless app concept etc etc etc), operating under a general concept: the browser. That's what I mean. A new "kid in the block" just appeared (at least for me and my client) named WTS, and new opportunities arose for regular desktop apps.
MS is putting new technologies in the market, so what will be next? (just refered to IE and WTS). Today the browser seems to be the panacea for all (desktop) problems (many IT managers are claiming this and requesting this kind of app), is that really true?
While I have no answers to these (and many other) questions, I'm behaving just as an avid spectator.
