My client is receiving an Invalid seek offset error occasionally when accessing a DBF that I use to log the status of various processes in my app. Where the error occurs, the app is only writing to the table.

The error doesn't occur every time the table is updated and the VFP help file just says 'Record your recent actions while using Visual FoxPro and then call Microsoft Support.'

It was suggested to me that it might be an index issue so I had my client run the reindex option in my app which deletes the tags and recreates them. They didn't receive the error for about a week, but received it again today.
