Hi, Alex.

Oops! We could have included a bit about TS in our training. 8-(

Take in consideration just a few things, Alex:

- TS licensing is a nightmare.
The people connecting to the sever has to be belong to the same organization (thus, you can't use TS to provide an ASP service).

- TS has some limitations about administration, remote resources usage, etc.

The best solution is to use Citrix Metaframe. This is the original developer of the technology (MS licensed ti from them until NT Terminal Server), and in fact it runs over W2K "over" WTS, not as a replacement.

It is not very cheap, but it is extremely powerful, and the licensing terms are quite simple. It is based on the concurrent users, no matter who they are or how they are connecting.

Using the ICA client on a web browser (a 2 minute download) you open each application in a way that you can't easily distinguish from a real Windows app (they even get their own space on the task bar).

Anyway, trying WTS is very simple. Just install the service in any W2K (or 2003) Server (from the Add Windows Component dialog) in Remote Administration mode and you can connect up to two clients without requiring any license.

Also, be sure to check some tips at:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnwts/html/tsappdev.asp

And of course, ask me about it any time you need.

Un abrazo,
