I can't find any good reason why to move to a new language since vfp
can do mostly...I remembered the hard time moving from foxpro dos to window
And now to .net. ??? Try have a look at .net framework or maybe get some C# sample u will know what i meant ( like seeing alien language ).
I am 31 years old and have written more than 60 customized application since 1999 and i think my brain is not much functioning like the fresh graduate student that can put 2 or more languages in thier brains
For me i just wait for the next version of VFP or other 3th party utility or tools or just retire :)
