What is at least different (there may be more) is the upgrading provisions in the VFP 8 license.

VFP8's license stipulates that the product that you use as the basis for upgrade qualification MUST BE REMOVED once the upgrade is installed and the new product MUST be installed within a reasonable period (or some such).

This means that IF you want to use VFP7 as the basis for the upgrade then VFP7 must be removed once VFP8 is installed. I don't know if VFP6 qualifies for upgrade or not.

The only way around this isn't... buy a FULL VERSION license instead.
