>I need to collect time data in a form, I am interested in hearing ideas on how to do that. I know it can be entered in a textbox, but I would prefer to use a combobox or something even neater. I tried using the combobox but couldn't get it to work by using a row source of values such as, 1.00, 1.15, 1.30 etc.

I'm in the process of converting a time entry app from FPW 2.5 using inbrowse to VFP5 using a grid. Basically the grid has a job code column as a combo box, the General Ledger Code is read only, then there is a column for each day. That is followed by a column for description which is mapped to a memo field. Double clicking opens the memo field for editting. There are a few addition columns which are read only. As each column is updated, a status box is updated with total hours worked, total hours billable, and total hours of over head. there is one line (record) for each type of time charge per day. We had to pattern the app after the FPW 2.5 version. Engineers are not big on change.
Hope this helps.
