I didn't try this, but I think that you can:
set printer to name "Printer 1"
report form ...
set printer to name "Printer 2"
report form ...
The first print job should go to the print queue much quicker than it can be printed.
I think that getprinter() will only return a value, not select the printer. You can combine it with SET PRINTER.
