Some things to check: what printer driver in windows is installed for that printer? Try a different printer driver. For the laserjet 5, we typically use either the windows HP LaserJet 5 digitally signed driver or download the PCL driver from HP's website. Once that is done, verify the forecolor and backcolor of all your objects in the report (click on them, and select format, foreground color and then choose black) are black on white and the MODE is transparent (format, mode). They should all be black on white instead of the default colors for testing purposes. Verify the arial font you are using is the windows true type font. If all else fails, you can try reinstalling the arial font. Can you print to the HP laserjet 5 using the same Arial font from other windows programs ok?

When I change default printer to deskjet 870cx all reports are working ok. I modified the reports under VFP8 and also cleared Expr, tag, and tag2 and un-checked printer environement. still does not display right unless I change default printer to hp deskjet.
