I don't know if this will help you, but, if you're using VFP8 and set a button.Themes = .T. it will look like a native XP button under XP.

>the .picture property works fine. vfp's default button is a plain rectangular box with a color scheme i can't change. i'd like to use like those buttons like windows xp, with all those colors and stuffs stuck on it to make it more 'presentable'. is that possible? is that on activex?
