I am trying to append to a cursor from an excel file that contains three sheets. I specify which sheet to append from, then after the cursor is populated it contains fields that contain the wrong information. There are numerous duplicate records, and most of them contain miscellaneous data from within the xls file.

The only thing that I can think of is that maybe the formatting of the rows and columns is causing a problem. There is a header record that stays fixed when you scroll through the spreadsheet. All three sheets have headers like this or fixed columns.

Is there anything that I can do to get the correct data?
