Neil,

If VFP can handle your database requirements (ie. most small-medium business) then I would take a serious look at FoxWeb (www.foxweb.com) as the 'glue' which makes your web pages talk to VFP. I have been using it for years in conjunction with VFP 6/7/8 and it is a wonderful (and constantly-evolving) tool. You may have to learn HTML to take full advantage of what you can do with VFP on the web, but it's not at all difficult.

If you have to upgrade to a larger database (eg. SQL-server) at a later date, you can still use Foxweb and VFP to access the data via. remote views or SQL-passthrough.

If you would like any more information/advice on Foxweb, feel free to email me privately.

Regards,
Alan
