Did anything change with your AntiVirus settings on either the workstations or on the server, or did you change to a different or upgraded AntiVirus product?
You might want to exclude DBF and associated files or even the data folders from "active or dynamic" scanning and also check whether or not you have IP scanning turned on (scans everything going over the network).
If these were already covered in earlier messages, please excuse my late-to-the-threadness.
