I used Ghost utility from Norton Utilities.
Works well, no need for a clean install, you have everything set before.

>The powers that be (those in charge of the computers) will be coming to my office in the new few
weeks to reformat my harddrive and put me onto another network infrastructure. My problem is I have really tweeked this machine to do my development on. My computer uses Windows 2000 Professional OS. Over the past several months I have set up many scheduled tasks, set up many ODBC connections, installed quite a few DLLs, and installed and updated several software packages (including VFP 6 and 7) that I use in my day to day development. I have told the powers that be that this would distrupt my development greatly as I would have to setup the new harddrive with all I had previously configured. They told me that it was my problem and that it was not theirs. So I am asking you all here, is there any thing I can do to save any or all of my configuration, so that I can bring it back when the new drive and network are in place? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
