I have never actually had to do this, but I have thought about it many
times. This would probably work: store the complete path to the data
(drive letter and subdirectory) in a memory variable on the user's
machine, maybe in their root directory. Your program can look for this
file and create one with a default value if it doesn't exist. Then have
the program look for one or all of the data files in this directory. If
not found, prompt the user with GETDIR() or GETFILE() to locate the files
according to their drive mappings. Then save this value back to the
memory file.
