Thanks, that's an interesting idea that I had thought of, too, but the problem is that the actual code is not generating output for a printer, it is generating EDI output files (this is based on very old code- DBase 2 or FoxBase+ era). So, we can't have FFs embedded in it. Obviously there are better ways to do this, we're just hoping to avoid re-writing a bunch of code...
