I don't know if this will help. But, before you RemoveObject, shift the focus off the object you are removing, to an object in the parent. I usually add a "not viewable" (but not invisible) textbox to a form. Just before the RemoveObject is issued, the :"Myform.MyText1.Setfocus"

VFP 6 and 7 seem to have problems removing an "active" or "focused" object.
