>Is there a way to suppress a date field from printing anything (just want it blank) when the table date field is empty? We're getting 12/30/1899 in records on a report when the base table field is blank for that date.

Sure, in the design mode of CR select the field and right-click on it. Select "Format Field". Click on the "Common" tab. Check the "Suppress" option, then click on the icon to the right of it that says "X-2" with a pencil on it. Add code here that evaluates to a logical true when the date should be empty (sorry, I don't have any reports with a date on it handy right now, so I can't give you the exact code).
