I have a problem where a fatal exception error keeps occuring, it occurs in a class everytime I run the application.

However, when I added in a strtofile to try and get some of the values out before it errored it ran through fine.
I then thought that it may be a speed thing as at the time it falls over its trying to add relationhips between access tables (my thinking being that access had not finished doing whatever it was doing), so I decided to put a delay loop in. To start with I added a 30 second delay loop just to see what happened and agian it fell over. But as soon as I added the strtofile back it worked............

does strtofile do something I'm not aware of?

any ideas would be greatly apreciated.
