Well the logic is the same if I save 5000 reports 1 report per record in the cursor. So I get 5000 records corresponding to 5000 batches in my cursor. Size of the cursor is reasonable about 30 MB.

If I have the same 5000 reports in 500 batches average of 10 reports per batch. The way we are saving it is by appending report data to the memo field of appropriate batch. By doing so we see our cursor size excede 2 GB.
