I sometimes get timer events stacked up, and they all come flooding when the computer catches up.
I have the timer disable itself at the appropriate time, but sometimes I have as many as 30 timer methods execute after disabling the timer. My timer method checks for the timer being disabled and doesn't do anything, but I would like to skip all the unnecessary calls to the timer method.
Is there some way to clear the programs that are waiting in memory ? Similar to the way "clear typeahead" clears the keyboard buffer?
Or maybe at least be able to tell that there is code waiting to execute?
TIA
