I think you have to leave enough space between the fields.
You have better control over all the details if you send information to a text file with the "?" and "??" commands, for instance.
I created a "wrapper", available as download #
9991. It gives you many of the features of the report writer - but you have to redesign your reports, you can't just re-use the FRX files.
