In my opinion to be placed on an internship have to be easier than apply work - because the company will not have any obligation concerning my future. In other hand it have to be more difficult, because they will spend time and nervous some of their the best employee...

For me that is impossible to find a place in any company as a VFP programmer and I am trying to find help or advice at this respected forum. And I forgot mention that the same task has the firm, which organize my trip. They could not find last year VFP position...

About Russian students in advanced studies... A very interesting idea, but for me it would be interesting to be as a student myself in company not yet a teacher, may be later :)

I am spending my money and time for study, because I could not find a job abroad. So, I can only study English and "western high-quality standards" on internships... May be in the future (may be) programmers will be high-demand people again and I will be prepared for applying real job abroad...

What amazes me is how many central and south american (spanish speaking) participants and contributors we have on this board. British Petroleum has just cut a deal with Russia. It just seems that a guy with your skills (VFP,english, russian) would find it easy to par `le those into something fun and rewarding. If you're in England already - for sure there are Russian students in advanced studies at the big schools that could use a developer to support their research.
