I need to make a timer event trigger the automatic termination of its container application. No problem when the app is in a READ EVENTS loop. But what if the user walked away with a modal form on the screen? Something such as a modal form I created, or even some modal entity such as a MESSAGEBOX. My questions are:
- Will the timer fire in spite of the modal situation?
- If so, can I then force a generalized application exit despite the modal situation? (How?). By "generalized", I mean simply invoke some code (VFP or WinAPI, doesn't matter) that will terminate the app no matter what.
Thanks!
