I'll take a look at the ads on your local paper, or take a look at different tech job sites, but I guess you'll find that what's hotter now, by far, is .NET. Indeed, being really proficient to deliver .NET applications means also to fully understand XML, and of course HTML and javascript (for front-end development, you always have to tweak things beyond pure ASP.NET).
Also, and if you decide to go the MS route, you'd add SQL Server to your skill set. The good news is that you have plenty of training in this area, and LOTS of information and knowledgeable people here on UT and UT Magazine as well.
