How many items are in the XML list? Is it still slow if pass only a few items or even one? Can you post your sproc code, select in particular?

>First of all thank you very much. That coding got the xml to work and allowed me to continue testing. Now I need to speed it up. The same queries that took apx 8 seconds with out xml took over 1 minute using xml. Where can I look for what is slowing it down? Or can I take the xml document and with in the procedure call another procedure on a record by record basis and populate a table that way?
