Simply copying files to d: doesn't do anything. I tried copying to the cd burning folder under Documents and Settings but that didn't work either since the folder is hidden.

Paste the following name to the file name field:

C:\Documents and Settings\Sally\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning

You can also make a desktop shortcut for this folder.

From this folder, XP writes data to CD automatically.
