Hi,

I am currently working on one of those 'mega-urgent projects' to implement a telephone system within a vfp application. Incoming calls need to be routed to a pc where the caller's details are displayed automatically on the main customer screen. Outgoing calls should be possible from the same screen by clicking on a button.

It looks like there are 2 possible avenues to explore
i) spend loads of time writing code which calls various functions within the TAPI32.dll directly, OR
ii) invest in a 3rd party tool (eg/ www.exceletel.com) and use this as an interface to the TAPI drivers.

Ideally there should be no 3rd party screens popping up, and the whole project needs to be completed by end October....!!

Any advise will be greatly appreciated, as i am new to this area.
