I can always filter the report, but the Memo file is going and even after a pack it is over 30 Megs. (only needs to be about 8 Meg) Not large, but causes a replication problem under Novell.

>Working with imaging applications, I found that it's reasonable to move all images into separate table with two fields ID (I) and General (for images). ID provides link to master table. Now the maintenance (e.g. change/delete images) means actually deleting old records and inserting (if necessary) new one, and PACK MEMO on this separate table will squeeze fpt file.
That's what I was a fraid of. If I am able to get the file exclusively after I update the images I issue a pack. I'll try breaking the images out into a separate file and do something like a set relation to the master departmt file.
Thanx
