Then your application has a bad implemenation. VFP can not maintain multiple record pointers into your second cursor used in column2. This is not a PROBLEM or BUG in VFP, the PROBLEM and/or BUG is in your implementation.

It's somewhat silly to think that VFP is going to ever be redesigned to support more than one cursor in a grid to fix your implementation when there are at least three easy implementations that meet the UI design goal.
