Thanks Hector
I do plan on catching your session(if I go). I import a lot excel data into and out of VFP. I have always thought Pivot tables would be a good interface for some of our users.

Its always been hard to sell the socializing/networking side of the conference. The first place they go is "we aren't paying you to have fun". Do all managers get brain dead when they become administrators? It may be high on our list but not theirs.

I have to figure out how to put a value on production from a governmental view. Determining value in a Corporate environment is quite different that government.

>As someone pointed out, try to find out sessions that directly affect your work. For example, since you write accounting applications (and you work for the goverment) my session on Pivot Tables might be something you could use in your work. I am sure there are other sessions that apply directly to your work.

>>I am not really going at writing justification letters. My boss needs to justify to our Florida State agency how it will benefit our Administrative section. We write accounting/personnel applications. Would anyone have an idea where I could get an idea or have something they could share.
