VFP reports have an option to use a private data session. Select "Report" from the menu and see if there is a checkmark on the Private Data Session option. If there is, uncheck it.

With "Modi Report cName" in place of "Report Form cName" i found all open tables of my form and i can select fields from the list when i have inserted the textbox control in the report. Now in VFP8 i have done the same things but when i open the report with "Modi Report..." i don't see the fields list like the report has a particular data session......
