Title:
Cancel Printing After Already Started
All,
I have a VFP7 application that uses Crystal Reports9 to print output (the output contains a large RTF field). I order to print a series of parent and child records, I need to repeatedly call the CR "PrintOut" command that brings up the standard Windows Printer dialogue box the 1st time but suppresses it for subsequent records. Nobody wants to have to click the OK box 200 times to print out all of the pages. Unfortunately I haven't found a way to test if the user clicks the "Cancel" button rather than the "OK" button so that if the user decides that they don't want to print out the reports, only the 1st page is canceled and the printing continues merrily on its way for the rest of the records.
No one in the Crystal Reports thread had any response so maybe this is best attacked via the Windows API. Any suggestions or at least hints on where to look for a solution?
Thanks,
