Hi Fabio

No, I do not favour censorship. If you read that in my message, you must please read again.

What I really wrote, was that there should be a maximum to how many NEW therads each user should be allowed to make. My feeling, and I am quite sure it is not only mine, is that you are way too eager to create a new thread whenever you don't get any more comments and/or you understand that yoe are misunderstood, and then start a new thread with the same topic, but with a little twist.

Make a search for your messages which does NOT have the word Re: in the title, and count. The messages withouth the word Re: are your new thread. My guess is that it must be between fifty and sixty during the last sixty days. If I am right, that is roughly a new thread per day.

Then check the topics, you will find that the topics are barely more than ten. I mean really different topics, not related in any way whatsoever.

I absolutely do NOT mean to cut you off in any way, on the contrary. Many of your points are very good, and when you have meanings, I sometimes agree with you, and sometimes not. That is life, and that is what it should be like.

But, and that is my second point, very often you are starting new threads which are simply meant to start discussions and/or to hear other people's opinions about some topic, and those discussions should be in the Chatter area. Especially since many of them are not related to VFP8 which is the area where you always start your threads.

Still friends?

By the way, when you answer a message, please include all or most of the message you answer. For other readers, it is much easier that way.
