I am enhancing data replication program at this moment. In previous version, I am comparing working table with "old table" to get the changed records and send to other location. Using this method, the performance become slower and slower upon the large number of records.

Therefore, I am trying to use a fields to store last update datetime/number, and then use SQL to select all records that later/bigger than previous saved breakpoint. However, I faced problem of update this field while deleting since VFP not allow update table in trigger.

Hereby, I woudl like to get some comments on, how to determine the record is deleted after the breakpoint?

How do you do this in your replication???
