Fox cannot find GetSmtpInfo()

That is correct. It is a UDF that manually configures to CDO.Configuration object if you do not have OE installed and configured. You have to supply your own code < s >. I though I made that clear in this comment:

The easiest way to fo the manual configuration is to store the required settings in a table. You can find documentation on CDO configuration in the MSDN Library. Under the contennts tab. follow the tree:

Messaging and collaboration -> Collaboration Data Objects -> CDO For Windows 2000
