I don't think it's defined by MS as a bug, they term it 'issue' <g> and it can't be found in the bug list but in their defense dating back to Fox2X days, they always recommended the approach I told you in the online help when printing reports ,even though back then DE was not in reports, because of unpredicatability of the printout.
