You should really look at creating form properties to hold these form wide items instead of using public memvars.

At times these variables are avaialable at the beginning of certain events like 'Init', Command-'Click' etc. but NOT FOUND in some user-methods created for the same form. I have tried to declare these variables PUBLIC in the Init event, yet somewhere along the sequence of events, the variables are 'lost', and the form's user-methods give NOT FOUND. Strangely, when I try to debug using Trace and Debug windows, the variables are lost even at earlier events/methods where they were otherwise available.
