Every now and again I get "Error #: 102" with message "Cannot create file whatever.fxp". This happens apparently randomly but typically I have been able to modify the prg file at will and subsequently quite successfully not only save it (Ctrl S) but concurrently compile it. Then for no apparent reason I get the above error message and thought the file changes are fully saved, the error "cannot create..." etc comes up.

I have tried the approach of using the CLOSING and CLEARING and RELEASING commands stuff but the only release I sem to be able to get in this situation is to CLOSE ALL & QUIT VFP (5.0) and reopen. Then the file properly compiles without a murmur.

So what gives here? What is keeping a file from recompiling even though the ascii text of the program does save to disk? Is this a bug? or is it me - a bed bug ;~( TIA. ./psb
