I'm having a bit of a headache with user control. The problem is that there doesn't appear to be an easy way to give them an absolute position within a page. The only way I can get them in the location I need them is to add them to a cell in an html table. But this is very cumbersome, and I would choose to build the page using 'Grid Layout' whenever possible.

Has anyone figured out how to position user controls in a Grid Layout panel, or a web form set up with Grid Layout?
