One of my favorite techniques to experience being used by telemarketers is when you pick up the phone to answer it and a chearful message is played. “All of our personnel are busy with other calls. Please stay on the line”!

Also, the guy who keeps calling and leaves a ten-minute message (pre recorded) is annoying. You have to listen to the entire message in case you missed an important (to me) call.

I think that the telephone numbers of all telemarketers and persons associated with that industry should have his/her phone number published so all members of the public can call them and say, “Hello, I just want to congratulate you for doing such a great job at annoying the public”! :)
