I am not sure what you need, perhaps 'COPY FILE x.y TO A:\x.y' ? This will copy any file ( APP, DBF, CDX, FPT, etc ) to anywhere you can address with a DOS / Windows path. With the large sizes of many files today, I would suggest you look at PKWARE or other compression software to compress / decompress files going to a diskette.
