In our case we are trying to insert multiple records - the first one goes in and then we get c0000005. In other words if we we were just doing one record at a time as you are then it would appear to be behaving in the same way.

We have only been using the IDE so far and have not tried this using an EXE but we always seem to get error C000005 rather than the other errors you mentioned.
